RESEARCH TOPICS

Contemporary phenomena are characterized by evolutionary dynamics with a high rate of complexity and change, interdisciplinary research is an extraordinary opportunity to bring out and investigate issues and perspectives that are not obvious, but very often relevant to the management of complex problems. It is a transformation that places us, as individuals, in a radically new position towards the 'digital platforms' active in the global context, but it also generates a particularly relevant effect in the economy and in society as a whole.

The IC4KI Centre intends to investigate the opportunities of 'digital transformation' as a strategic factor for innovation and the economic, social and cultural development of the territory, studying the interdisciplinary implications of the new frontier of Artificial Intelligence in the fields of the different ERC sectors: Social Sciences and Humanities, Life Sciences, Physical and Engineering Sciences.
